Bisdak the English

I’m Bisdak (Bisayang Dako), and I’m proud of it.  Although academically speaking, these were really uncorrected mistakes in grade school, I love the way we pronounce some English words because it gives us our own identity – it separates us from the rest – and it’s in a way, fun to hear.

I know that it somehow reveals the kind of education that the majority of our fellow Bisdaks have gone through (and the state of our Educational System in general), but I think this can be useful really if you want to “connect” or “bond”, or “feel one” with them.  That being said, this post was never created to insult, offend, or disrespect anyone.  And, not all Bisdaks speak this way.
